Beware of the cancellation policy

<p>I made a bookking at Marloth Park for April and due to our friends not being able to go with us (started new employment with new rules for leave), we can't pay for accommodation for 6 people if we are only 2. And we can't change the booking to a later stage because we will never need accomodation for 6 people. Our friends only get leave in December and we can only go on leave during the year.</p> <p>I was absolutely shocked to find out that the cancellation policy is 50% of the total amount, so my total deposit was used for the cancellation which was R4 500-00!!!! Safarinow.com says it the establishment's rules and the establishment says it is Safarinow,com's rules, but on another website the policy for exactly the same establishment states that it is 50% of the deposit (R2 250-00). </p> <p>I will defnitely not be using Safarinow.com ever again.</p> <p>Booking.com offers its customers free cancellations on most rooms. No cancellation fee is charged if a reservation is cancelled up to two days before the date of arrival.</p> <p> </p>
