BE VERY AWARE---REFUND POLICY

<p>We were looking for accommodation at Mazzeppa Bay and clicked on that site. We believed that we were dealing directly with the Mazzeppa Bay , but later discovered we were actually dealing through SafariNow.com.</p> <p>The Mazzeppa Bay cancellation policy is basically that if you cancel your booking 2 weeks or more before date of arrival you will receive your full deposit back, however with SafariNow, their policy is that if you cancel your booking 30 days before date of arrival you will get your deposit back. We booked the accommodation 29 days ahead of our required date and then found out that we were not on Mazzeppa Bay web and wrote to cancel our booking through SafariNow, the next day, 28 days before arrival. BE VERY AWARE that you read SafariNow's refund policy as we paid them R1200 and received back only R900! They help[ed themselves to over R300. Basically, SafariNow will TAKE 25% of your deposit or 17.10 % of the total fee, whichever is the GREATER! if you cancel within a 30 day period. Cancel within 14 days and you will loose your ENTIRE deposit! Keep in mind they are only the booking agent---not the hotel. Do you think this is a fair deal---NO! We have subsequently unsubscribed from SafariNow.</p>
