Rather support the smaller dealers - Shoddy communications, total lack of respect from Safari Outdoor

Safari Outdoor have lots of stats on their website landing page that make them appear as if they are customer friendly. They're not and I wish that I had seen the reviews here before supporting them. 2 years ago I purchased a pistol via their, admittedly convenient, 6 Pay system and, things being as they are, it took two years for my licence to be issued. Safari Outdoor will store your weapon for 1 year and therafter its R250/m. Fair enough. However for the last year I have been regularly writing to them to get a statements so that I could have the storage fees paid up. To quote a South Africanism I've met with less than any joy and feel like I'm being ignored "like a stop sign". I've emailed, Ive phoned, Ive spoken to humans on the phone and probably bots via mail but still it seems impossible to JUST GET A FREAKING STATEMENT OF ACCOUNT from them. You would think they want my money? You would think they want to get my pistol out of thier safe? I'll hang in there because I've paid for the pistol and I want it in hand, now more than ever, but I can tell you that this is the last time I'm supporting Safari Outdoor. Next time I'm going back to my small local dealer.
