No return policy - if you read the fine print on the slip which nobody tells you about

I bought items to the value of R3 979.00 on 2.5.2021 and when I wanted to return it, I was told their policy is "No returns". Spoke to the manager at your Stellenbosch branch who said a sale is final - unless there's a manufacturing fault (which there is not) and that I should check the wording on my slip. The slip indeed has the following in very small print right at the bottom: "All sales are final". Note: Nobody makes you attend to this when they sell you products, no signage up to say "No returns" etc. To my knowledge the consumer protection act allows for goods to be returned, but was told that their attorneys checked it and they are sufficiently covered by the "dispensation clause" on their slips. This is unacceptable and needless to say I will never shop there again. This is not a gun or ammunition that was purchased, it was Ear ****s & a rifle sling - still in their original packaging not opened yet.
