Gaslighting and misleading customers

I wish to express my disgust with the handling of matter by Safari and Outdoor. I feel the company has taken upon themselves to use this time of recession and economic strain to gaslight and mis lead its clients.

Referring to the booklet for the Jagfees 2020 - page 41 on the Hornady 22 250 remington brass catridges. *according to the booklet* a box of 100. For R 595 - WAS R710 saving R115. Now the problems.

1. We made the 50 km drive to Safari and Outdoor Cradlestone. Just to be told there has actually been a printing mistake- the quantity of the box is 50- not 100 and on the booklet. And I am just told that ' it is what it is and its a mistake they can not be accountable for'. I guess the guy that has to proof read the printables also just threw his hands up in innocence?

2. I get told that it's still a great price. The kind sales lad offered the box for R550. Which is great but I still wanted to speak to a manager as I found this very unprofessionaland inconvenient considering how far I drove for someone just to tell me it's a mistake and they can'tdo anything about it not take responsibility. Speaking to the manager who suddenly can not give me a better price than R 595. Confusing isn't it? I mentioned that his sales man wanted to give it to me for R550... I am confused ? Suddenly he checked the system and yes he can give it to be for R 550. What a game of cat and mouse this is turning out to be?

3. Check the website and spot another lie. Remeber the booklet said it WAS R710? It actually was R660 according to the website so at the price of R595 you are ACTUALLY saving R65 bucks. A way less attractive saving that the one in the booklet. But if you wrestle them down to the R550 price at least you are saving R110- much closer to their advertised amount. But this too was surely another printing mistake neh?

So my question to YOU Safari and Outdoor. If I werr to take the day to take appart your booklet and cross reference ACTUAL prices and the clients ACTUAL savings. How many more lies will I come accross? With a country in massive resession and economic strain, unemployment rates raised by the hour. You see it fit to lie and gaslight your loyal cutomers?
