Sacred Mountain Lodge Wedding Nightmare

Please be aware of booking your wedding at this venue in Noordhoek. We paid our deposit of R15000 towards our dream wedding and also another R6000 for other services to be provided. We canceled 3 months before the wedding date due to personal circumstances. After politely speaking to the owner of Sacred Mountain Lodge, 6 Avondrust street, Noordhoek, we were politely denied any of our deposit paid to be returned. Not the full amount, but something beneficial to both parties. We were told no as they had loss of venue income. Although we only booked the Garden and one room. I am going to fight this in the courts now, but please be aware where companies hide behind their contracts
