Fobbing clients off
Myself and my family went through to Franschhoek for a treat. We have previously been to Sacred Ground and had good experiences when ordering their confectionery/desserts but always disappointed with their meals.

Once again this was the case yesterday - I initially wanted to order a Pork or lamb pie (both were out of stock so we ordered two hamburgers and specifically ordered them to be cooked medium. As the establishment is open plan we never heard the \medium"request being put through. So when our waitress passed by I again asked her to make sure that they are cooked medium which she affirmed.

After some time another lady came to us to say that they (as a bakery) don't have anymore hamburger rolls so suggested a panini. The burgers arrived and I cut my patty open to find that it was very well done so I returned it - my daughter couldn't be bothered so she went ahead with hers - One could not cut through the panini - it was a mission whilst all the toppings rolled off in the process. My second attempt arrived which was cooked much better - you would have thought that we would be asked how the meal was midway through - not a word from any of the staff. Very disappointing! """
