URGENT COMPLAINT AGAINST SACMCP -UNRESOLVED APPLICATION & UNFAR FEES

I am writting to formally lodge a complaint against the South African Council for the Project and Construction Management Professions (SACMCP) regarding their handling of my Safety Agent Application.

I initially submitted my application in April 2024, including all the required reports and supporting documents. After receiving no response, I resubmitted my application in June 2024, yet I have not received any feedback or progress update since then.

Despite this SACMCP continues to demand payment of annual registration fees as a Safety Officer (CHSO), even though my application remain unresolved. I have already paid the application fee, yet the lack of communication and transparency raises serious concerns about the integrity of the process. Furthermore, the repeated threats of deregistratoin due to non-payment feel unjustified. Considering SACMCP has not fulfilled its obligation to process my application efficiently.

This situation is unacceptable and I feel that SACMCP is operating in a manner that is exploitative, demanding money without delivering services they claim to provide. I kindly request the authorities to investigate this matter and ensure that SACMCP is held accountable for their actions.

I would appreciate an urgent resolution and a formal response regarding the status of my application.

Should I fail to receive a satisfactory response, I will consider escalating the matter further to regulatory authorities and consumer protection agencies.
