SACPCMP Registration

I did all the required courses in 2007 to be a qualified Safety officer. This was expected from us in this specific trade at that time. I passed all courses and also did extra courses to upgrade my qualifications. From 2007 I was employed as in SENIOR and Manager levels by big well-known Companies, Factories and Construction sites with success. A new Body (SACPCMP) started and everyone in this industry must be registered under this body. You should also write an exam and if you do not pass this exam for the second time you aren’t allowed to work as a Senior/Manager in this trade anymore. You must now work as a candidate under mentorship for 1 year and keep a logbook hereof, then you can re-apply to write the exam again.

After 10 years of experience in my career I must now work as a junior Safety officer after I have trained people and worked as a Senior Safety officer for so long. I am 58 now. The exam is only in English and the most of the questions is not truly work related and the exam was set up as a ****** puzzle of 100 questions which should be done in a hour and a half. After 10 years of experience I know my work and now on my age I must write an exam to test my knowledge. I got 59 in my test and the required past rate is 60. I missed it with 1 point and now I must work as a Junior? I can’t afford this to happen on my age with this economy? Which employer will employ me now to be mentored under someone else?? I don’t agree with this and I don’t understand. Can anybody give me legal advice on this matter? What steps can I take?

I lodge a notice of appeal to the High Court of the decision of my to the Registrar Nomvula Rakalote but she not even Respond and I sit without a work D/T SACPCMP
