We want our dad's money

These people just don't want to do their job, my dad passed away August 2021 and we were called to submit our bank statements, affidavit and ID copies 2022 around March till today we've been told all sorts of stories about the trustees coming to sign and what not...I don't understand why must we be the ones running after them to sign when it's their job and we suffered enough with loosing our dad now this... according to my knowledge the death claims take a year for investigations and payout why is it taking so long... someone is not doing their job and it's not OK..
