Abreal Property Management Bully

This property management company, Abreal, likes to bully tenants into signing contracts that are ******** and waver your rights as a tenant. They ask for a deposit upfront as all landlords or property managers do but what they don't tell you is that they will hold onto your deposit for 21 working days after they have inspected and you have vacated the property. I don't see the legal reason why this process should be allowed if you look after the property , they have inspect it and happy to sign that the property has been left in good condition. Is this legal ?
