Sabelo Egg Suppliers - Kimberley

I would like to share a negative buying experience with Sabelo Egg Suppliers in Kimberley. I searched on the internet, came across their webpage. I contacted them, and placed an order for 10 boxes of eggs. They sent me an invoice for a total of R2900.00 for which I paid and they were going to send the eggs with a courier. I'm situated in Limpopo. Later the same morning I got a call requesting that I had to pay an additional R900.00 for the insurance on the eggs, which is apparently refundable if the eggs arrive safe. While searching for the email from the courier company, I saw that Sabelo Egg Suppliers, dispatched 15 boxes of eggs. I contacted them immediately at which their reply was that the courier would only travel to Limpopo if the order was for 15 boxes, but assured me that I could pay for these extra boxes in January 2023.

1. I only have orders for 10 boxes. 2. I will be stuck with 5 boxes of eggs not ordered, probably going off and I would have to throw it away. 3. Nobody from Sabelo Eggs took the time to inform me of their decision to send an extra 5 boxes without my approval.

This morning I was contacted by Sabelo Egg Suppliers informing me that my order will not be delivered before I pay the extra 5 boxes, an amount of R1325, which I did not order. I told them that I currently do not have the money as it is Xmas, and I already paid a total or R3800.00. I'm currently unemployed and wat using the eggs to make extra money for my family. I told them that I refuse to pay over any more money until I see the order for myself when the courier arrives. It feels that Sabelo Egg Suppliers force extra product on you, and then threaten to deliver if it is not paid. I've told them that I don't have that money to pay now, and that the whole order must be cancelled. But I'm getting a feeling that I'm going to lose R3800.00 because of employees at Sabelo Eggs that made decisions to send extra product without consulting me, and the owner refusing to release the product because of oustanding monies.
