Poor warranty
I bought a car battery in January this year. Earlier this month, I started having issues with the car starting. My mechanic removed the battery, cleaned the terminals, and fixed a drainage issue in the vehicle. However, a month later, the car wouldn’t start again, and the mechanic suggested the battery might be the problem. I returned to the place where I bought it, and after testing, they confirmed the battery was dead. When I explained that the battery was only 10 months old and showed my invoice, they told me the warranty was voided due to marks left by the mechanic’s cleaning and the ***** marks on the battery terminals, citing SABAT’s policy.
I feel this is highly unfair. The battery was never opened, and this was simply basic maintenance to fix a vehicle drainage issue. Despite explaining this, they refused to replace or repair the faulty battery, making this the worst experience I've ever had with a product under warranty."
