Battery claim

I bought a Sabat battery at a local dealer around July 2022. The battery was registered with the sabat warranty which was to expire in August 2024.

Around June 2024 i began having problems with the battery and i went to the store where i had bought it. My mistake was ivhad lost my original proof of purchase but i managed to get the proof of registration. The branch manager of the store refused to assist and said he needs the proof of purchase.

I managed to get in contact with Sabat and I was referred to a willard store at Alrode. When I got there the manager also refused and said he needs the proof of purchase. I decided to call the Sabat agent who was assisting me and he referred me back my local store.

When i arrived there, they decided to test the battery and then they informed me that they cant take the battery as it has no water. They then called the Sabat agent and he also refused my claim. They blamed me that the battery had no water.

How am i expected to have knowledge on what inside a battery? I am not a mechanic to asses those things.

I was never informed when I purchased the battery that it should always have water.

I was never given the terms and conditions of the warranty.
