Suzuki/SAAB Sandton ducking and diving
Bought an Audi Q5 from Suzuki Bryanston in late November. Great service while I was buying the vehicle, but once I had the vehicle, the service level disappeared. I discovered their workshop had not done a complete check on the car - heavy on fuel and the seat belt warning on the drivers side was faulty. A service sorted the fuel issue - the air filter was completely blocked with dust and debris, and I didn't have a problem paying for the service either. The seat belt fault was critical - the air bags would probably not deploy if required as the OBC did not recognize that the driver was in the seat. A couple of days (waiting for the part) and R1400 later, the problem was solved. Steven assured me that Suzuki had no problem reimbursing me the cost of repair and the invoice had been submitted for payment. I called Steven in late Dec and was advised that being the holidays the payment would be done on 4 Jan. 4 Jan came and went - no payment. Several calls and unanswered voice messages and mails later, and this is still not paid. I'm being flatly ignored. The funny here is they know I'm in the market to replace my wife's car soon - do they expect repeat business after this?
