Whatever you do,never buy SAA Voyager airmiles!!

I wanted to book a flight for my family using part Voyager miles and part cash to fly to Dar. I had 120,000 miles and the cost was 211,000 miles. As it costs 250 to buy 1000 miles it would have cost me ZAR23,000 to pay for the difference! This was over twice the cost of paying full price! Clearly one should never buy SAA miles
