Unhappy Customer from South Africa Airlines very very costy to fly Luanda

I have two complains about the airline

Call centre lack of customers service

I often contact South Africa Airlines as I'm a frequent flyer that uses their services. Firstly one cannot attempt to resolve a problem with less than R55.00 ( fifty five rands) airtime as call to the airline can take more than 30 minutes.

Yesterday I contacted SAA about four times spent about R200.00 rands from two different networks but still did not manage to resolve my problem.

I was constantly putted on hold for more than 15 minutes with no return from the call attendant.

Cost penalties

I missed the flight due to been ill. I was meant to fly from Jhb Luanda. I inform the airline before my trip and they came back on the day of the trip saying that it would be a no show.

The airline is charging me R10 000 for the flight to travel three hours "3 hours" to an African country on very basic economic class. Never mind that the initial flight costed me around R 8 000. Out of season flight.

In total they are charging me about R18000.

I truly feel that i'm been maliciously roobed by South Africa Airlines.

How can we say we want to better the services in Africa and also say that we want to compete with big international names , if all we are doing is rob the people who help us build the brands( South Africa Airlines)
