********* cancellation poily & misinformation

Called SAA on Friday (10/4/2015) to enquire about cancellation of first leg of a 2-leg journey (i.e. just getting on at the second leg instead of the first). Was told I would forfeit the first leg's fee, which was acceptable. Called on Monday (13/4/2015) evening (+/- 20:00) to make cancellation, and was told that I would be eligible for a tax refund of the first leg portion of my flight, IF I waited until Tuesday (14/4/2015) morning, when the \Booking Fares"department was open. On Tuesday morning I was told that there would be a +/- 6h wait before they could confirm my refund. I kicked up a fuss"
