Unauthorized payment

On the 8th of December 2023, I excitedly purchased a flight ticket from Port Elizabeth to Johannesburg. The transaction went smoothly. However, on the 13th of December, I noticed that SAA had deducted an unexpected amount of R973 from my bank account. Concerned, I immediately contacted my bank to inquire about the charge. To my dismay, they directed me to the merchant, SAA, for further assistance.

I reached out to SAA, explaining the situation and seeking clarification on the unauthorized deduction. Thankfully, SAA acknowledged their mistake and assured me that an agent would be in touch to gather additional details. However, despite the passage of time, it is now the 25th of December, and I have yet to receive any communication regarding my refund.

In my numerous correspondences, I have provided all the necessary information and even obtained a case number.
