Terrible experience

On December 19th I flew SAA from Durban to Hamburg with layovers in Joburg and Munich. I got to Joburg at 3pm and my next flight to Munich was expected to depart at 09:20pm. At around 7pm, I find out that the flight is delayed until 1am, around 10:45pm they announce that the flight is cancelled and that we will fly out the next morning at 9am. The staff then ask us to follow them to get our bags, this takes around 1-1/2 hours. We are then told to follow the SAA ground staff as they will lead us to the hotel. Around 100 people are taken to elevators to go up to the 2nd floor, we follow the staff and walk out the doors with all our luggage only for the staff to realize that the hotel is not on the 2nd floor. Eventually we ask the airport cleaner where City Lodge Hotel is (which is accessed from inside the airport) and he leads us to the right direction. We get to the hotel and are made to stand in a queue that is snaking around the hotel lobby and down the elevators. It is now 1:30 am, I have been waiting to get into a hotel room since11pm. There were screaming babies, elderly people, exhausted mothers but SAA just did not seem to care. At 1:30am I get to the front desk and the man at the counter at City Lodge tells me that SAA only ordered a certain amount of rooms and they just gave away their last room. After some begging and pleading, they found one more room for me. There were still about 50 people behind me in the queue which meant they had to go to another hotel after waiting for 2.5 hours. The next morning many of them told me that they got into the shuttle and the shuttle breaks down in the middle of the street so they got their bags and started walking to the hotel. Now I understand that flights get cancelled and delayed but the least that you can do is provide good customer service. The least you can do is train your staff as to where the hotels are in the airport. The next morning I had to re-sealed my bag at my own cost and at 9am we are on the plane. The flight is then delayed an hour. After eventually taking off and getting to Munich and then on the next flight to Hamburg, I arrive at Hamburg at 12pm on 20 December. 12pm and there is no sign of my bag. I spend another hour at lost and found and no one can tell me where my bag is. I eventually leave the airport at 1 in the morning with no bag. (It gets delivered to Bremen airport the next day) Now if you think this is a rough journey just wait until you hear that 23 days later on my way back home, my flight from Hamburg to Munich gets delayed and I do everything in my power to get on an earlier flight so I do not miss my Munich to Joburg flight because I know that my Visa expires and I just want to get home. I miss my flight, have to stay in Munich for the night on an expired Visa. A call is made to the airline to ask about the Visa situation where they say its not a big deal because it is a one night overstay. Not a big deal turns into me being detained and questioned by German police. I was ********ly charged for overstaying. I get on my next flight, pick up my bag in Joburg and recheck it for my flight to Durban. I'm finally home and go to collect my bag only to find it ripped apart. South African Airways is a disgrace. No explanations where given. No apologies were made from the ground staff, they did not even know what they were doing or where they were going. Let me not get started on how disgusting your food was in flight or how there was no in flight entertainment for a 10 hour flight. There were so many Germans and Canadians on the flight that were shocked at the level of treatment. When they asked questions, your ground staff gave them the eye roll. Let me not forgot the "compensation" that we received, 25% of the next flight that we take with SAA that has to be used within the year. Who wants to ever fly with you again?
