*****ing of items in luggage

<p>I am writing to you with great concern. My daughter (who is only 16) went on a school tour</p> <p>And flew back from New York this morning landing at 8h05 SAA flight 204 at OR Tambo</p> <p>It took a long time for her luggage to arrive on the consul. Her suit case was locked with an internal combination lock on the actual suitcase. JFK do not offer the facility of suitcase wrapping.</p> <p> On opening her suitcase 2x snow globes one of Washington and one of Statue of Liberty were ****** out of her suitcase she was extremely upset and distraught -crying as this was her gift to her parents.</p> <p> I have reported this first thing this morning reference number JNBSA34489 (6 Ocotber) Being a snow globe would be difficult to carry out the airport and for them to check their staff immediately. I was told to go to police station and get a case number and claim against the insurance?</p> <p>It is shocking that SAA just accept this as a regular occurrence and we to just claim on the insurance</p> <p>It is not the value it is the present that she bought for her parents which is extremely sad.</p> <p>She cannot just go back to Washington and New York to purchase another one?</p> <p> This is theft and a ******** offence</p>
