SOUTH AFRICAN AIRWAYS POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE AT OR TAMBO INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT BY SALES CONSULTANTS

<p>I booked a flight(air link) through Travel start agencies on the 17/06/2016 around 22.30pm for mthatha (18/06/2016) time 8.05am and the booking was confirmed and a temporary tickets was issued to my email......on the 18th morning I was at OR Tambo and I was told the ticket was not valid due to the fact that I made the booking late after cutoff as a result the ticket was not issues.....fine....I was referred to the ticket sales consultance then told that the ticket doesnot exist and the sales man advised that I get a new ticket then follow up with with travel start later since I had to be in mthatha for my unisa exams on Monday I decided to buy the new ticket how ever to east London since there was no other flight to mthatha. The sale was done and I paid(cash) that was at 9.30 and the flight was leaaving at 10.05 I quickly went to check in counters and I was there at 9.35 only to be told the flight was closed however a lady in front of me checked in.......I was puzzled...how come the sales person didn't mention that the flight was closed but it was appropriate for them to take my cash and I was told that I can only get my cash after 21 days.....I refused and demanded my money back since this was a cash transaction and I demanded to talk to the manager.......then....2ladies came...Gugu Mbatha and Fatima .....these ladies gave me a STINKY attitude instead of the assisting me they blamed me and Said I will get my money in 21 days and that was it.........I had to now book another flight with Kulula since there was no other SAA flight to E.L I spent the whole day at the airport from 7:45am till 15:00pm which I was suppose to be at my destination before 10am studying to top it all I was never refunded...i spent on expense that was not planned for as result of this unprofessional service..I need SAA management to intervine......as this is poor customer service.</p>
