SAA super service when needed

When I really needed SAA to assist they were stars. My wife needed to urgently get a flight from Maputo to Cape Town but she needs wheelchair assistance and also travels with a portable oxygen concentrator. I contacted Reservations on Sunday afternoon who made a provisional booking for Tuesday morning and referred me to all the medical forms required. The doc was also a star and by 12H10 today the forms were in to Specialhandling. I had a email clearance response from them by 13H34. A call to reservations confirmed the flights and all paid for by 15h26. I was dreading the hoops I would have to jump through but they did all the jumping for me. BUT I wish they would improve the quality (clarity) of their call systems as they sounded like an airport announcement.
