SAA refuse to refund ticket

I had a ticket to travel overseas in the last week of March. Due to the danger of travelling, as well as the possibility that I would be stuck in a foreign country and unable to get back home, I cancelled the ticket. I was assured by phone that my ticket will be refunded. I immediately requested a refund to their refund dept, but after 4 emails, there has been no response. I do realize that the company is bankrupt, but I paid for that ticket, and expect to be refunded.
