SAA Quoting Rules not on the ticket

I was one of the lucky few to get the cheap SAA to Abu Dhabi when they went on sale, unfortunately I cannot honour my travel because of work constraints I tried to change the tickets but it was unaffordable to do so. I called the call centre to cancel the ticket but was told that the ticket is non refundable. Nowhere on the booking reference sent to me on 6 Mar 2015 does it mention that the ticket is non refundable. but it does state the following: (Abu Dhabi, The Emirates nor Asia is mentioned under the policy)<br> <br> - Cancellations.<br> Australia : 50% Cancellation fee applicable<br> Africa : Ticket is non refundable<br> USA / Brazil / Argentina : 25% Cancellation fee applicable.<br> UK / Germany / Europe: Ticket is Non refundable.<br> <br> - ZAR285.00 (or equivalent currency) Refund Administration charge applicable<br> <br> I am willing to forfeit the R285 refund administration charge, but I'm not willing to forefeit my entire booking fare.
