SAA PUTS MY CHILD AS RISK
Child assist service was not provided even though I arranged it. I emailed my complaint to SAA on the 20th July, received a reference number on the same day. 22 July received an email from Rose Ramasehla (Customer Service Agent) saying that she will investigate why child assist was not provided. To date I have not had a response since then. My concern is that parents are forced to provide all the travel documents such as unabridged certificate, letters to confirm that child has permission to travel, doctors certificates to say child is healthy enough to travel. One takes the time to contact SAA and arrange child assist and then they don't even bother to do so when child travel to and from country. With the huge trafficking issues that our country has, it's of concern that something as simple as child assist can go wrong! I'm so disappointed that SAA has still not responded to my complaint and I have commented same on Facebook page and not this route with the hope that they respond. If they don't, I'm off to media about this issue. Frustrated doesn't even begin to explain how I am feeling.
