SAA Its time you shut down!

I was due to travel back to South Africa with SAA from New York on the 13th of Nov 2017. After sitting in the flight for 4hours with no explanation as to why the flight was not moving our flight was cancelled and we were sent to a hotel. Our luggage remained with SAA while we were made to parade the airport with no information where we will be getting the buses to the hotel and the promise of the food was not fulfilled when we arrived.

The next morning another delay to our flight which was not communicated to us until I went to enquire and was rudely answered that they did not know why we were held up to board the flight. We finally boarded an hour later and had to sit for another hour before take off while no one communicated that delay again. Everyone was fed up and we all just wanted to be back in South Africa, we had no choice but to be patient with the crew that was not nice to us to a point they refused us drinks (Thembelani Jacobs aka Fish) until the senior crew member(Ntombenhle) intervened and saw that we did not do anything wrong to be refused drinks and snacks and she served us.

We eventually arrive in Johannesburg and have to wait two hours before we get a connecting flight. My bag was wrapped from JFK with a plastic and when i dropped it off for re-checking it was wrapped, however, when we get to Cape Town the plastic had been torn where the zip opens and i took a picture immediately as I was already suspecting foul play. To my surprise when I get home my bag which was bought for this trip is now broken in 3 different places and I try to call the call centre to enquire where i can complain about this, the calls are hung up on me twice, the third time i call it is answered but there is no one on the other side to attend to me while i can hear people laughing at and having conversations.

I am very disappointed at how we were treated by SAA and further that they broke my new bag which I will need for my next trips and I demand a refund for it because it is still new. I have taken pictures of all this and I will supply if needed. I need a bag asap as I am due to travel on the 22nd.
