SAA-items ****** from luggage

On Saturday afternoon/evening, my son and his wife flew SAA from Durban to London with a stopover in Johannesburg of about three hours. Upon arrival in the UK my son discovered that three and a half pairs of shoes - yes... three pairs and one extra! - had been ****** from his checked-on baggage. His luggage was securely locked. He lost one pair of new Nike trainers bought in NYC, one brand new pair of Nike golf shoes, his Nike slops... and one of his Asics trainers. What good is one shoe to anybody - ***** or owner??? Perhaps the ******* were interrupted and they didn't manage to get hold of the other shoe??? In addition, his bag is damaged beyond repair which means he will have to replace this too. I CANNOT believe that with all the security that OR Tambo boasts they have in place, ITEMS LIKE THESE ARE STILL BEING ******!!!! Does SAA care??? Seeing they are a company which does not respond on hellopeter, I would assume that they don't.
