SAA Fong Kong airfares
I think some of the low fares on the SAA website are con-fares or ****-fares. I tried all weekend to buy a well priced fare on-line but after confirmation of my reservation the payment would not be processed by the airline there the cancellation of the reservation.
After the weekend I confronted my bank about my credit card being rejected by SAA. The bank invested and told me that the problem was with SAA not my card. I had sufficient credit and all the banking channels.
I contacted SAA reservations and narrated my experience. Elizabeth checked my weekend reservation and informationed me of an erro code. What was the error? My card had been blocked by SAA credit division. Why I asked? Elizabeth had no clue. So we went on a journey to redeem my credit status with SAA credit.
First SAA credit tried to put through an amount of R3 162.00. For what I was purchasing, I still dont know. My bank's ***** department called me immediately on the attempt by SAA to debit my account of R3 162.00. I was shocked! As I was still on the line with Elizabeth waiting for good enough explanation why my card is not good enough. Elizabeth was surprised to say the least. She kindly asked me to hang up, so she could investigate further.
True to her word in less than one she rang me. The story now from credit is that I must have changed my add, cellphone number or just entered a wrong digit on my street add. So it not match with the information the bank has on the data base. "REALLY what NONSENSE" was my reply to Elizabeth. So why did the banks ***** department not call me? I have kindly asked for a written reply.
SAA is up to some unfair practice here.
