SAA Down-graded flights

I have been accompanying my aunt to the airport (O.R Tambo International) since last week Thursday (5 January 2017) for the U.K. Ysterday was the third time, to be told that there have been technical problems resulting in the flights being down graded. It is such an incovenience for such a well known flight to have this technicality during peak, when people have to go back to work and school. Some people were advised to write to the pilot in order to get a jump seat, of which "certain" people get approval. We were told that coming today (Monday), tomorrow and even Wednesday will be a waste of time, as there are passengers in negatives who booked, and still are not making it on the flights, that including my aunt. No work no pay is the issue at the moment. Blessed are those who stay near the airport, i have to drive 40km's only to come back again. Of how long these technical difficulties will go on, is a very good question. We await for the day that my aunt can go back to the U.K and presume with work. For now, we can only pray, that when we eventually do go back on Thursday, that she can get a flight back.
