SAA Credit Card Companion Ticket , Airport Taxes

Just to let all SAA voyager Credit Card holder , When you buy a Companion Ticket , you are charged Airport Taxes more than what you would pay if you book with your miles.<br> <br> I booked tickets with miles and paid Airport taxes of R 1593.72 per ticket <br> <br> at the same time I booked a companion ticket and SAA charged me Airport taxes of R 3782<br> <br> How is this possible , be careful when you buy Companion ticket.<br> <br> Instead of booking a companion ticket , you rather book two open tickets from other airlines which could work out to less than SAA companion ticket.<br> <br> Be Careful - thanks <br>
