On 25 March 2015, our company made an online flight booking for our Human Resources Executive, to fly to Durban for a very important meeting. The flight was booked for 30 March 2015, departing at 08:45. A return flight to Johannesburg was booked for the same day, departing at 15:40.

When she arrived at the airport, at 07:45, the flight was overbooked and she couldn't fly then. After explaining to SAA staff that she needed to travel for an important business meeting, she was placed on the next flight, which they told her was also overbooked. This flight was supposed to board at 09:30.It was delayed twice and she missed her meeting. When she went to the counter, she was given a R1000 SAA voucher. R2434.38 was paid for the original booking.
The company credit card used for this transaction needs to be credited with the outstanding amount of R1434.38. It is unacceptable that SAA expects our company to lose R1434.38 for a flight that was overbooked and where the passenger could not travel, due to SAA's negligence.
Not to mention the inconvenience caused. Please provide proof of refund by 10 April 2015.
Should we not receive anything by then, we will hand this over to our attorneys
