Pathetic service after my luggage was send to Brazil and not to Johannesburg. Got stuff that was ****** out of my luggage.

Please read my mail of unhappiness that I've send to them, still no luck with them:

Hope you are well, I got your e-mail address last week when I phoned to speak to you. I’m not happy about the amount that was paid out to me after there was stuff ****** out of my bag. Here is my story:

I took a flight for work from Cape Town to Johannesburg on 05/02/2016 at 06:00, my luggage never arrived on the other side (Reference number was: JNBSA24839) and I was without any clothes or my personal stuff for the weekend- I had to go and buy new stuff to use (NOTE: I DID NOT CLAIM EVEN FOR THIS). My phone calls to SAA was not even claimed for, been with you guys on the phone for hours trying to locate my luggage. I went back the Sunday 07/02/2016 (Luckily with British Airways) still without any trace of my luggage that went missing.

I kept on phoning you guys every day to find out if it was located or not. I was then asked to submit a form to claim for my lost luggage, which I did. Then on 22/02/2016 I got a call to say they found my luggage and I don’t even want to know where. So my luggage was found in Brazil- WOW that blew my mind. I took a Domestic flight and my luggage ended up as an International luggage. The way they identified my luggage was of my name that was on my medicine (which I also had to replace due to my lost luggage).

My luggage arrived on 23/02/2016 and upon inspection my Aria Hair Straightener that I got in London was missing, as well as my UK Adapter plug and a night gown was missing. My whole luggage smelled like my perfume and I found that the top part of the bottle was damaged. I’m sorry but this is not acceptable and I went to the police station to give my statement.

I’ve sent through the paper work on 24/02/2016 to your claims department, on the 25/02/2016 I received a mail to please send my ID through- which I did. They said it will take up to 21 working days to complete, so I waited. Only on the 3rd of April 2016 I received a mail that you (Tony De Villiers) will be working on my claim and AGAIN from there it will take 21 working days. My loss of damage I’ve claimed for was R6230.00 (much mush less than I’ve lost- only claimed for the components that was ******).

On 15/04/2016 I got an amount paid out to me of R1231.00, NOTE: MORE THAN 2 MONTHS AFTER THE INCIDENT. I never received any contact from you or any e-mails. This is such poor service from such a big company. I work in Customer Service and this is not the way you treat your customers. My work always buys the tickets through SAA and even when me or my family travel overseas we use SAA. But at the look of this matter, I never want to use you guys again.
