Our citizens in China

Hi There, In yesterday's paper, The Star, I read an article about the SAA Pilot and Crew, who risked their lives to bring back 114 South African Citizens from China. I have composed a letter to The Star and it reads as follows : Your Article in Monday's Newspaper, dd. 16th March, 2020 refers: "Pilot didn't hesitate to fly" I would like to congratulate the SAA Chief Pilot Captain Vusi Khumalo and his Crew for showing no fear, but lots of courage and good-will for bringing back our 114 Fellow Citizens safely back home. I must be very honest, I myself, like so many other people here, first had my reservations bringing these 114, our Fellow Citizens back home. But, I soon had a change of heart after seeing the arrival of the SAA and passengers at Limpopo. But, that is not the only reason - I myself suffer from 'short breath' for the last few years (never had a problem all my life) and, putting myself in 'their shoes/situation' being stuck in this Wuhan, just absolutely freaked me out - it must have been extremely frightening for these poor people! For that reason, I am so very happy for these 114 Fellow Citizens being back home, where they belong and soon being re-united with their loved ones.
