Made to fly with MANGO when booked SAA ticket

<p>firstly, I must say, if it wa not for the EXTREME POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE LINE, maybe I would have opted to speak to SAA myself.</p> <p>I booked a flight to Dbn form CT end of August in 2016, which was for the 25th f Nov which is today.</p> <p>my son was supposed to " fly SAA" THIS MORNIING, and only to find that his ticket has been changed to Mango.</p> <p>I tried calling the bookings, onylto find tha thtey open after 8h00, which is also a problem - fo people who will fly earlier. i was then told by the guy named Daniel that the flight is operated by Mango - which I dont care and dont understand to care,being a traveller myself, I knwo that famous line is always there.</p> <p>this is extremeely uncalled for, and unfair.</p> <p>its shocking that SAA thinks they can get away with this.<br />as I am typing this email, I am fuming! <br />surely if I wanted Mango I would have booked it - with even lesser amount of money.<br />Today he parted with an extra R300 because he had to pay for his bag, which was included in his previous flight. so now, hisi "mango flight" costs more thatn R2000, which is extremely ridiculous.<br />What sort of ******* is this? Who decided who will fly with what ?<br />I then phoned SAA, stayed on call on my cell for a good 30 minutes only to be told to phone customer care.<br />for the past 2 HOURS, and I am not exaggerating, I even took photos and a video, I have called SAA customer care TWICE - 45 MINUTES EACH CALL, and NO ONE PICKS UP, in the name of " we have high volume of calls". surely, I can stay for few minutes waiting as I would be the only customer, but waiting for 45 MINUTES, TWICE, AND NO ANSWER???</p> <p>there is no value for money, how can I pay so much and yet he is then made to fly for a flight that can cost half the amount I paid??</p> <p>Then, moving forward, one may expect SAA to take reponsibility by refunding ro at least giving detailed explanation and maybe an apology. but, SAA being SAA, will never come to a party - after seeing so much complains abou the same thing, I think its the order fothe day and they get away with it. we work hard and earn money beacuse we dont prefer budget flights and then all of a sudden,we are where we have worked so hard to stay away from.</p> <p>all i can say, if you read this and think it wont happen to you, continue to fly SAA. I have made my decision that s from today, even if it will be w work related trip , NO MORE SAA FLIGHTS FOR ME AND MY FAMILY. </p>
