Hand luggage taken at aeroplane door

My son was on flight SA180 to Nairobi and KQ886 to Bangkok and his Bags never made it. <br> One bag was wrapped and checked in and the second, his hand luggage) was taken at the aeroplane door by staff to store. This bag contains a prosthetic running blade.(the reason he takes it as hand luggage),a laptop and extra clothes. Once off the plane they said he can collect that bag at luggage claim which was impossible since he wasn't allowed into Nairobi where the bags were delivered and he didn't have a visa. <br> He also lost his baggage check card and ticket. He was seated in 31A on the SAA flight. <br> <br> He landed in Bangkok on Monday at 07h00 and has no clothes or anything with him since his hand luggage (prosthesis worth R100 000, laptop and extra clothes were taken) Bag taken was not locked because it was taken as hand luggage.<br> Difficult for him to communicate without a laptop and there is no SAA office on the airport in Bankok.
