Frequent Flyer Credits

So here is the situation: I book business class flights expecting to earn my points. The tickets are issued by SAA, SAA uses Emirates as the operator. Even though I am flying (DBX-CPT)-(CPT - JHB)-(JHB-DBX), SAA will only give me my miles for the (CPT-JHB) leg. I have to send them the actual boarding passes by registered mail to an SA address if I want to earn my miles on this flight, Now remember we in the digital age and to make it exceptionally difficult for me to claim my miles they come up with this practice. The bridge of contract is that they do not advise anywhere on their website that this is a requirement. The service agent said that they will update their website in future to reflect this. I have been a loyal user of SAA but clearly my trust in the airline has been misplaced and I am deeply disappointed that I will have to use another airline that has more integrity than SAA for my future travel.
