Failure to compensate delayed flight SA237
Our flight from London to Johannesburg was cancelled and our flight was delayed for 22 hours. I received a letter from SAA which stated that we were entitled to compensation for this delay. I then contacted the SAA Customer services in South Africa to claim for my compensation on 20/04/2015. This case was eventually assigned to Rose Ramasehla. After many calls,Rose finally confirmed on the 01/06/2015 that she will put the claim through and I must wait 21 working days for payment. When I called back on the 26/06/2015, Rose was busy and the agent who I spoke to said that Rose said that I must wait a week for payment. I still did not receive payment after 21 working days so I called and spoke to Rose's team leader, Millicent Skosana. She looked up my case number and said that Rose had closed my case. When i told her that I hadn't received payment she looked into the case and told me that Rose was confused about something and left the case aside. SO now the team leader is putting my claim through today (07/07/2015) and she said it will take 21 working days but she cannot confirm when the 21 working days period would start. Number 1 airline in SAA?? Definitely reporting this to Skytrax.
