Extraordinary service

We booked a BA flight in Port Elizabeth, leaving 13h30 on 28-11-2017 to Johannesburg to connect a SAA flight tonPerth- Brisbane. Ba's flight was indefinetly delayed. SAA staff realised our dilema and the supervisor assured us that he will make sure we get sorted as SAA had only one flight leaving at 15h30. That was our ONLY hope to be on time to board in Johannesburg. At 16h00 SAA let us know that they have 2 seats and we can check in. Since 15h05 untill 16h20 BAA staff was unable to retrieve our 3 checked baggage. SAA baggage staff took my BA baggage tokens, retrieved my baggage by took it by hand to the plane while the security rushed my wife and myself to the plane. As we were leaving the airport, all the doors closed behind us. We were late because of BA's incompetant staff. SAA at Port Elizabeth booked our luggage to Perth. At Perth SAA called us to inform us that our baggage are delayed and they will courier our baggage to our destination in Brisbane. SAA gave us each an emergency fund for a day. We left for Brisbane and we are staying 70 km from Brisbane airport. The next day our luggage were couriered to our doorstep without any further problems and everything undamaged and in place.
