Exhausting Refund Terrible Service

How is a process of a ticket refund take at SAA, to phone everday to be told my refund is waiting for approval does not help. I cancelled my flight ticket on Monday, 12 August 2024 today it is the 2 September and I am told the same story that it is waiting for approval so how long does this approval take Reference ***042
