Excellent 5 star service by Sabelo and Shounis

We experienced terrible travel delays coming from Vietnam to South Africa, via India and Kenya. Kenyan airlines is most unreliable and irresponsible as our delays were well over 10 hours. We were miserable, stressed, sleep deprived and I just couldn't wait to come to SA. I could have kissed the ground once I arrived here. However, today I want to compliment SAA and their staff on the professionalism, helpfulness and empathy. I missed 2 flights due to Kenyan airlines mistakes. When I ran to SAA counter, after collecting my baggage at Johannesburg International, I met Sabelo Nkabinde and Shounis Arenos. Out of breath and trying to check in the baggage, I realised there was so little time. Sabelo explained that he couldn't find our names on the transit list. My husband ran to Kenyan Airlines. They had forgotten to issue tickets to us and lazily told us to get it from SAA. My husband has a knee problem and he was running. Sabelo asked me to phone him and to tell him not to run. He also told me to sit on the big comfortable seats and relax while my husband sorted things out. Both of them tried to help me not to panic and to reduce my stress. I was really amazed at the calm manner in which they handled everything. When the tickets reflected on his screen, Sabelo got us on the 8.35 flight, which gave us time to breathe and not have to run to the boarding gates. I am so grateful for their patience and help in getting us on that plane, otherwise I would have had to spend a night at Johannesburg while my family was eagerly awaiting us on Monday night. Please can someone acknowledge the praise that I heaped up Sabelo and Shounis who are most deserving of this appreciation. I would really love it if my compliment would reach both of them. They are an asset to SAA.
