SAA - Epic Fail

SAA economy class, London to Durban, December 20016

· In seat Media equipment broken, when we asked staff to fix this, they blamed ground crew, when we asked to move seat, they were rude and sarcastic.

· Food poor, cold, the same as the last time we flew SAA in May of 2016

· Plane, old, tired, in need of basic repairs

· Toilets, filthy from take off onwards

· On domestic flight from JNB to DUR flight stewardess insisted we checked our carry on bags (despite their being copious room in over head bins), she insisted (without a hint of irony or taking corporate responsibility) that SAA had over booked the flight.

· When carry on luggage (checked in at insistence of flight crew) retrieved at DUR carrousel, we found that our tablet had been ******.

· Called SAA to discuss items ****** whilst in their care, no answer twice.

· Emailed customers service related to ****** items, no response.

· Emailed SAA CEO, no response.

· Emails Star Alliance and SAA press office, awaiting response.

You can fly this same route on Emirate, BA, Virgin (and other carriers), don’t fly SAA, they provide a poor service, they don’t care about customer service, they are totally unaccountable.
