Don't deal with SAA

l'm currently visiting USA , I bought a ticket from united airlines under impression that I was using the airline, after paying when they issued a ticket I realized it was operated by SAA , l phoned the ticket sales guys no one bothered explaining what was happening, on the day I was meant to travel I was called and told my flight has been changed, I understood only to arrive in the airport and told the flight is delayed . We were kept in the airport for 5 hours on arriving in Washington we missed the connecting flight only to find rude , unprofessional lady without a name tag in their help desk, after 30 minutes she attended us and told us there is nothing she can do it's not he problem that we missed our flight we will need to wait 5 hours to get a connecting flight, I asked her for food as I was traveling with my baby she rudely told me it's not her problem, I was meant to travel to Orlando from Indiana I missed my flight I have to pay extra money,my brother lost his girlfriend he had to rearrange his ticket the same airline which inconvenienced us charged us 18 thousand rands to change a ticket it was more than what we bought the ticket for , I'm truly shocked with the service , can someone explain to me why was I charged 18 thousand just to change my brothers ticket and secondly will they refund me the money I used to rebook tickets to Orlando as they delayed me with 10 hours and I had to incure cost , I'm advising people to stay away from using united airlines, there are just a bunch of ******
