DO NOT FLY SOUTH AFRICAN AIRWAYS!!!!

Last year I had to travel to Germany to speak at a conference. I had booked Lufthansa, but my local flight was with SAA. SAA then delayed my flight from Cape Town to Johannesburg, which made me miss my flight to Germany. Luckily they could place me on another flight, but I then arrive without any luggage. In Frankfurt SAA staff told me that SAA would pay for my train ticket, since I had missed my train, and would pay 50% of my clothing expenses since I had to buy a new suit etc. to speak at the conference. After taking 3 months, SAA now wants to reimburse me USD 75. This does not even cover 10% of my expenses, nor does it cover the train ticket. This is absolutely ridiculous seeing that SAA staff specifically told me that I would get more.
