Delayed with small baby

My husband spoiled me with a direct flight from Cape Town to Nelspruit today, 2 Jun 2015, supposed to fly at 10:00 this morning -flight number SA8663. This cost significantly more than travelling to Johannesburg with perhaps a much cheaper competetor and then taking a shuttle service to Nelspruit-Mpu. But since I am travelling on my own with a very small baby, he took the punch of the extremely expensive ticket. We have however been very disappointed at the service we have received. It after 15:00 and we are still delayed. Will maybe start boarding soon? This is very inconvenient for everyone, but even more painful for someone with a little baby. My family is in cape town and if SAA could organize themselves better I coild have waited at a home with my small baby instead of at the boarding gates in this extremely cold weather. The inly compensation we have received up to now has been two meal vouchers -not even to be able to sit in the lounge. I feel this is not good enough. Ironicly-I will probably arrive in Nelspruit at the same time-or maybe even later-then of I took the cheaper option of flying to Johamnesburg and then taking the shuttle service
