Confused Lounge Access Policy SAA vs Airlink?

On Sunday 23rd I flew to PE from Durban. (SA1340) Although I have a premium SAA credit card (Nedbank) I was abruptly refused entry to the business lounge because this was an Airlink and not a SAA flight. (Not - \our apologies there appears to have been a misunderstanding sir - you obviously think this is an SAA flight but I am afraid its Airlink and its our policy to only allow SAA bookings entry". Rather \""This is an Airlink ticket not SAA you cannot come in\"". When I said \""But here's the SAA logo on my ticket how must I know?\"" she was already back on her computer ignoring me!)

Yet we booked on SAA site and ticket had SAA logos etc . No indication that this was NOT SAA???

Surely this is splitting hairs? I book an SAA flight on SAA website but am told at lounge I am offsides?

Please explain this policy. """
