Bureaucracy over brains

Checked in 1 bag between 2 people. 1 piece of hand luggage weighing 3kg. Checked Bag was 27kg. Had to unpack repack our stuff in front of everyone to redistribute the weight even though it’s all going in the same hold except now our toiletries will probably be smashed as they’re in the bag intended to be hand luggage. Really idiotic following of bureaucratic procedure has made for a horrible experience and now I’m going to be stressed about our stuff until we get our bags back on the other side. Way to go SAA.
