booked 2 seats on SAA flight for myself, SAA refuses to refund me one of the seats (in married and divorced surname)

Booked my ticket to Mauritius in my ****en name through cheapflights.co.za, but realized passport is still in married surname. SAA don't allow a name change, and refuse to give me a refund because I didn't book straight via them. I had to book another flight, and reserved a seat 1 row in front of the other seat. I have officially paid now for 2 seats,but will only occupy 1.

Cheapflights.co.za has a no cancel no refund policy and refuse to let the 1 seat go and just rebook another one. They claim they already paid the airlines, SAA said they only receive the money after the flight. Either way, SAA will get money from me for 2 seats. The supervisor said I might be able to claim a refund for the airport taxes only, which is only about R457.

I won't accept not getting a refund. If I don't cancel the flight via cheapflights, then SAA will indeed get their money, but they can still market their seat, as airlines are allowed to overbook their seats.

Please advise what should I do to get my money back? I am so disappointed. Air Austral changed my surname in a couple of minutes,for a penalty and admin fee, in 5 minutes. Why is SAA so difficult?

They can check both my reservations: Booking Number JJSWRT and Q84QG8 and see one is in surname Visscher and the second in surname Thomas, but it is the same person.
