Baggage did not arrive

I am pro cyclist and I almost always flew SAA until now. I was flying from CPT to Montreal ( Canada ) for an event. I flew from CPT - JHB - frankfurt with SAA and then I had separate flight with Lufthansa from Frankfurt to Montreal. However my bike did not arrive in Frankfurt with me and then obviously could not make the next flight to Montreal. The bike got left in JHB and then only arrived 2 days after me and the event had already started so I was unable to compete. I also had to drive 3hrs each way back to Montreal airport to collect the bike as no one communicated that it had arrived. I flew to Canada for this event only and was unable to compete. Thus the trip was a complete waste and this is not a holiday, it's my job. I have sent loads of emails and tried calling SAA but they are unresponsive! I am going crazy, this is ridiculous!
