Avoid SA Airlink

We booked 2 tickets to fly on SA Airlink to Nelspruit Mpumalanga National airport, during December as this is the only carrier that flies there. A few days ago we were informed that the tickets have been cancelled and NO refunds would be done. Although they advertise as a fully owned private airline, they suggest that we can obtain to claim our money back from the bankrupt SAA. You must however obtain a letter from your employer that it is a business flight ? having been put on retirement since the Covid19 started I am unable to obtain such a letter anywhere! Anyway nobody goes to the Kruger National park for business. I don't have a vehicle any more and normally rent an Avis one there. I hope their CEO has sleepless nights from ******ing money from cash stripped pensioners in such a cunning manner!
